Last night I watch the movie Good luck Have fun Don’t die. I would say the plot base is standard quest type movie. What have worked well as a dungeons & dragons type movie or any sort of video game RPG type movie. Only reason I watched it is cuz I like the main actor who plays the crazy guy that comes back in time Sam Rockwell. This was kind of cool and kept me interested right when I was about to turn off.
Later on there are two characters that are substitute teachers and again without any spoilers at the end of the movie they are gearing up and putting on armor for a battle… And the one teacher puts on a yellow football helmet similar to the Green Bay Packers… And her weapon looks vaguely familiar to a 1960s like toy ray gun. Immediately my mind went to Commander Keen games from the 1990s.
I did quick Google search on both of these and yes the cake is a lie was noticed tons and tons of times while no one has mentioned anything about Commander Keen.
Just my observ ations. Overall I give the movie a B+
