If you like me every time you jump on a zoom meeting or a Google meet call there is always somebody running a note-taking AI. I always see Reed.ai or daughter or even Gemini note taker on Google meet.
Has anyone stopped to think about what these companies are doing with the information they’re grabbing from our calls? Yes they transcribe everything and it makes it great Yes they summarize it and yes that makes it great but what happens to that data once our call is finished? Has anybody read the Eula? Are these AIs using our meeting data for training… Or worse?
I’ve been on quite a few calls recently where we’ve had an agreed-upon NDA yet here we have read AI taking notes for us or Gemini note taker. Who’s on the other end and what are they doing with this data?
I don’t think many companies are taking this into consideration when using these tools.
