Today I had my yearly review with my new boss. Everything went fine. One thing of note was the topic of inflation came up. He was mentioning how he was in a convenience store and wanted to get a bottle of Coke but it was $2.50. I had mentioned that Chick-fil-A their breakfasts used to be under two bucks and now they’re A little over $4. Looking back at yesterday’s car repair costs I can remember when I got tires not too long ago pre-COVID and the tires were less than 500 bucks. Yesterday I paid $700 plus a disposal fee Plus an alignment fee. Again I will emphasize that the car is driven mainly by my son so as long as he’s safe I’m happy.
I can also remember going out and it would cost us a family of four no more than $50 for a meal. Now if we get out of a restaurant under 80 I’m surprised
