okay so hear me out. literally my whole childhood everyone was OBSESSED with zombie apocalypse stuff and quick sand. walking dead, world war z, zombie survival guides… like people actually thought rotting monsters were gonna take over the world due to an industrial accident or alien virus or some crap like that…but nobody saw what was actually coming.
smartphones happened. and honestly?? they came for your brains and the zombie apocalypse DID come, just not how anyone expected. look around you. people walking into traffic staring at their screens. families at dinner, everyone on their phones. nobody talks anymore. we’re all just… shuffling around, glazed eyes, totally checked out from real life. sound familiar??
the scary part is it happened SO slowly that nobody even noticed. at least with actual zombies you’d know to run. with phones we just kind of… let it happen. we handed over our brains … BRAINS… BRAINS…
