So very disappointed to find out that my Lennox Home thermostat that we paid $500 for must have a Wi-Fi connection to the internet to do anything. This afternoon the Wi-Fi went out because the cat pulled a plug while snooping around under my desk. Now it’s dinner time it’s dark out and I need to turn the heat a tad bit higher just to warm up the house. However anytime that I asked Alexa to do this I was told that the thermostat isn’t responding. That’s fine I’ll just walk over to the thermostat and do it myself manually. This is when I realized when I was turning it to 68 from 65 it pop right back down to 65 after a couple of seconds. I tried this three or four times same result.
