I am sitting here in the Drive-Thru line after ordering $50 worth of food for the kids and my wife at Chick-fil-A and the double drive-thru line has at least 15 cars in each lane plus traffic is out into the street!
I drove by McDonald’s and Burger King coming here McDonald’s had maybe five cars in the Drive-Thru. Burger King had nobody in the Drive-Thru and nobody in the dining room. The five guys right across the shopping mall from Chick-fil-A has more employees in it than it does customers. And it is 7:00
Looking in the dining room of Chick-fil-A the place is packed with families with kids and teenagers.
I understand that it’s the top rated chicken sandwich in the fast food world. But it’s constantly busy. Knowing some background about the business each one of the restaurants has an average yearly sales volume of over 2 million dollars.
Yes it’s a good chicken sandwich but that good? Yes they’re good nuggets but that good?
One final thought on chick-fil-a.. they got rid of their eat more chicken promo a couple years ago with that much fanfare. The spotted cows that were all over the place when these places first opened are no more. Or no moo
